We are a 120-bed residential treatment facility and assist in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of behavioral health issues for our young adolescent patients. JOB REQUIREMENTS: (include, but are not limited to, the following) Patient assessment and care planning: Performing comprehensive assessments on patients, including mental status evaluations, vital signs, and physical health needs, and contributing to individualized care plans based on the patient's needs. Medication administration: Accurately administering prescribed medications, including psychotropic medications, and monitoring for side effects. Behavioral observation and documentation: Observing and documenting patient behavior, including changes in mood, affect, and behavior patterns, and reporting any concerning behaviors to the registered nurse. Therapeutic communication: Engaging in therapeutic communication with patients, actively listening, providing emotional support, and assisting with coping mechanisms. Qualifications JOB REQUIREMENTS/SPECIAL SKILLS: Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program. EMR Electronic Medical Record Knowledge of Mental Health Disorders High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of Psychotropic Medications Phlebotomy Exceptional ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats. Strong Interpersonal and organization skills.
