Cardiac Echo Sonographer - Cardiology Department at Baptist South

Baptist Medical Center is excited to welcome a Cardiac Echo Sonographer to join our Cardiology Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, Florida.

This is a full-time opportunity with a shift of 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities

• Performing high-quality diagnostic examinations of the heart using advanced ultrasound techniques, ensuring accurate imaging and reporting.
• Collaborating with cardiologists and other healthcare providers to support patient care and treatment decisions.
• Providing cross-coverage and as-needed back-up support to other non-invasive areas of the Cardiac Department to maintain seamless operations.
• Delivering compassionate patient care by preparing and educating patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process.
• Maintaining equipment, documenting procedures accurately, and adhering to department protocols and quality standards.

Experience

• 1-2 Years of Cardiac Sonographer Experience

Experience Requirements

• Adult Echo credentials through either ARDMS or CCI are required within 18 months of hire.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients, families, and clinical teams.
• Previous experience in cardiac sonography preferred, but not required - we provide a supportive environment for growth and learning.
