Travel RN - Emergency Department - Night Shift

Location: Lone Tree, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7 PM - 7 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our busy Emergency Department (ED). The unit is designed to handle a high volume of patients with an emphasis on quality care and patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients within a Level II trauma center.
• Perform triage, assessments, and assist in the management of a variety of health conditions.
• Engage with patients and families to ensure understanding of care plans and treatment options.
• Utilize evidence-based practices for pain management, reducing opioid usage through ALTO therapies.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1-year current experience in an Emergency Department setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC certifications are required.
• Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred but not mandatory.
• CEN certification is a plus.
