You’ll work in a full-time contract role, dedicating 37.5 hours per week to making a measurable difference in the lives of students with diverse needs. What you bring:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience working with students with a variety of learning and behavioral challenges
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills with students, families, and colleagues
- Adaptability and creativity in lesson planning and lesson delivery
What you'll do:
- Design and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Monitor student progress, adjusting strategies and supports accordingly
- Develop IEPs in collaboration with team members and families
- Deliver engaging instruction in both small group and one-on-one settings
- Maintain accurate records and uphold all compliance requirements
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
- Provide guidance and encouragement, supporting each student’s academic and social-emotional growth
