For more information, visit As a Full Time Registered Nurse, Occupational Health, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in High Point, NC.The scheduled hours are 32 hours per week Monday 5p-5a, Tuesday 5p-5a and Saturday 6a-2:30pMake an Impact Beyond the Hospital:Provide meaningful care that helps employees stay healthy, safe, and at work.Autonomy & Variety:Use your clinical expertise independently while managing everything from workplace injuries and illnesses to emergency response and OSHA programs.A Schedule That Stands Out:Enjoy a consistent 32-hour schedule with three shifts per week.What You'll DoAssesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practiceCollaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as neededPerforms and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practiceMaintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control proceduresMaintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date recordsEducates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up carePerforms other duties as assignedWhat You'll BringCertificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferredCurrently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice requiredCurrent certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of servicesCertification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sitesAt least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinicWork-life balance is at the foundation of how decisions are made and where Premise is headed.
