Help Shape Bradley's Digital Campus Experience!

Want to help design, build, and promote the digital home for Bradley University?

Join the Be Connected Student Team and make a real impact on how students, faculty, and staff access information, connect with each other, and navigate university life.

We're looking for creative, collaborative, and tech-savvy students to support Be Connected 2.0-the next phase of Bradley's digital engagement platform (powered by Pathify). Students selected for this team will serve in one or several functional roles, each shaping a different part of the platform experience.

About Be Connected

Be Connected is Bradley's unified digital experience platform-your one-stop hub for systems, services, events, academics, campus life, and more. Its purpose is to provide a holistic, student-centered digital experience that improves success, connection, and confidence across all Bradley communities.

Whether it's finding resources, navigating campus services, or staying engaged, Be Connected aims to make information easy, intuitive, and accessible when users need it.

You will help with the following tasks as part of a team of students.

1. User Experience (UX) & Satisfaction

Help us understand what users need.
  • Conduct micro-surveys, feedback forms, and pop-up interviews.
  • Organize small focus groups and usability tests.

  • Assist in analyzing analytics
  • Present insights during team meetings.
2. Content & Communications

Shape the voice of Be Connected.
  • Write announcements, spotlights, and success stories.
  • Create visuals or short-form videos for Be Connected
  • Maintain a lively, student-centered tone aligned with Bradley branding.
  • Assist with platform-wide communication campaigns.
  • Support accessibility improvements in written content.
3. Campus Outreach

Be the face of Be Connected across campus.
  • Promote Be Connected at events (Visit Days, Orientation, Late Night BU...)
  • Partner with student organizations to build out relevant content.
  • Demonstrate platform features to students, faculty, and staff
  • Encourage adoption through peer-to-peer engagement.
  • Track outreach impact and recommend improvements.
4. Technical Operations & Data

Support the structure that keeps Be Connected running.
  • Maintain categories, tags, and organizational structure
  • Assist with analytics reports (usage, page views, search behavior).
  • Help track content health, flag outdated resources, and support workflows.
  • Test new Pathify features and assist with configuration.
  • Serve as a bridge between functional and technical needs.
5. Content Migration

Help bring important campus information into Be Connected.
  • Review current bradley.edu information selected for the intranet.
  • Rewrite, reorganize, or condense content to fit Be Connected formats.
  • Ensure information is accurate, accessible, and up-to-date.
  • Work with campus partners to verify correctness during migration.
  • Upload content into Be Connected and apply tagging/meta-data.
  • Maintain a shared content inventory to track migration status.
Personal Benefits:
  • Be part of a fun, forward-thinking project that's shaping the future of Bradley's digital experience.
  • Gain skills that boost your education and future career through hands-on, real UX, content strategy, communications, or technical work
  • Grow as a professional-strengthen your leadership, design, communication, and project management skills.
  • Work directly with classmates, faculty, and staff to create engaging digital experiences for the Bradley community.
  • Collaborate with university teams on exciting initiatives that impact students across campus.
  • Build your network by connecting with campus leaders and key university partners.
  • Share your work confidently by presenting ideas and solutions that shape Bradley's digital portal

  • Enrolled full-time with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Able to commit to a minimum of 6 hours per week, including a weekly team meeting
  • Dependable, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality (especially around student and employee records)
Additional preferred skills may include:
  • Writing, editing, or content creation experience
