Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for Night Shift RNs in Progressive Care Unit!


Job Description:
- Shift: 12 Hour Nights (1845-0715)
- Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend (EOW)
- Unit Details:
- Progressive Care Unit with 20 beds
- Patient Ratios: 1:3 (max 1:4 if medical overflow)


- Required Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS

- Experience and Skills:
- Acute care experience
- Cardiac and respiratory care expertise
- Must have experience in titrating drips
- Common drugs: Cardizem, Heparin, Amiodarone


- Support Staff:
- Charge Nurse and House Supervisor available
- Nurse Aid support (Ratios: 1:7 days, 1:11 nights)

- Equipment:
- RT Equipment: C-PAP, Bi-PAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula
- Telemetry monitoring with RN strip reading


- Scheduling Info:
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Orientation: 2 shifts specific to the unit

- Additional Info:
- Floating Requirement: First to ICU or Med/Surg
- Scrub Color: Any color/design except purple for tops; Any color except purple for pants


- Cancellation Policy:
- Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment; 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks.
