Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required
• Radiologic Tech (RT) license in the state of practice: Required
• Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in some states, Preferred in CA
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
• Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment: Required if operating fluoroscopy equipment
• Venipuncture certification: Required if performing venipuncture to administer contrast materials
• At least two years recent experience in field

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnosis.
• Performs a variety of imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy.
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients.
• Maintains accurate records and ensures the integrity of patient medical images adhering to confidentiality guidelines.
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment.
• Manages supply inventory and performs other job-related duties as assigned.
