Long-Term Acute Care Advanced Practice Provider

Rush University Medical Center invites applications for the position of a part‑time Long‑Term Acute Care Advanced Practice Provider. Duties & Responsibilities Rotating 10‑hour shift schedule covering a 24‑hour service. 76 12‑hour shifts per year (0.50 FTE). Report directly to the Hospital Medicine Lead Advanced Practice Provider. 100% inpatient. Preferred Qualifications Previous Advanced Practice Provider experience in Hospital Medicine, Critical Care or related specialty (preferred, not required). Relevant RN experience may be considered. APRN candidates will require Acute Care Certification. Position Requirements Nurse Practitioner Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse, or eligible to obtain licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) application process. Master of Science in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing Practice with a clinical specialty appropriate to the position. Current certification by the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Physician Assistant Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Physician Assistant/Associate, or eligible to obtain licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) application process. Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant/Associate Program. Current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $124,610 - $175,000 for a full‑time 1.0 FTE employee.
