Simply Smiles Dental LLC is looking for a passionate and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our growing team in West Valley City, UT! This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in patients' lives by delivering exceptional preventive dental care in a welcoming, patient-focused environment. BOTOX AND FILLER BENEFITS! Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing procedures for patients of all ages
- Double booked with dedicated assistant
- Pay DOE ~$48 -$50/hr
- Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, including periodontal evaluations and charting
- Take and review dental X-rays (radiographs) in accordance with office protocols
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, home care, and preventive strategies
- Document patient records accurately and maintain up-to-date clinical notes
- Collaborate with the dentist to develop and communicate individualized patient treatment plans
- Sterilize and prepare instruments and operatory in compliance with infection control standards
- Active Utah Dental Hygienist license in good standing
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience with dentrix software preferred
- Strong knowledge of periodontal therapy and preventive dental care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented dental office
