Delivery Driver (02576) - 8905 Indianapolis Blvd Full-time Job Category Org: Store Delivery Expert Delivery Driver We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to provide excellent service and timely delivery of Domino’s pizzas and related products to customers throughout the area. Job Requirements and Duties Must be 18 years or older. Must hold a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record. Must have access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery. Must possess navigational and map‑reading skills and be able to navigate multi‑story buildings and adverse terrain. Deliver pizzas and related items within the designated delivery area. Deliver flyers and door hangers. Operate all store equipment associated with delivery. Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler. Prepare product, receive and process telephone orders, and complete necessary paperwork. Clean equipment and facility on a daily basis. Training and Development Orientation and on-the-job training are provided. Communication and Technical Skills Ability to comprehend and give written instructions. Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers over the phone and in person. Mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; provide correct monetary change. Keyboard or touch-screen proficiency for order entry. Motor coordination required for rapid and accurate movements. Reading a map and locating addresses within the delivery area. Work Conditions Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions. In-store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler areas to 90°F and above in some work areas. Fumes from food odors and cornmeal dust. Exposure to hot surfaces and sharp edges. Physical demands such as lifting, carrying, pushing, walking, and occasionally climbing stairs or ladders. Physical Requirements Standing for most tasks; walking surfaces include ceramic tile or linoleum. Walking short distances frequently; travel between store and vehicle and to customer locations. Occasional brief sitting for paperwork. Lifting up to 50 pounds with hand trucks; stacking items up to 72 in. high. Carrying items such as large cans, sauce, and pizza dough trays (total weight up to 12 lb. per tray). Push or pull trays on dollies; requires up to 7.5 lb. of force. Climbing five or more flights of stairs may be required during delivery. Stooping and bending at the waist for assembly and stocking tasks. Crouching or squatting occasionally to reach shelves and clean low areas. Reaching above 72 in., down, and forward for various tasks. Driving within designated area with a vehicle that meets company standards. Additional Job Details Maintaining eye-hand coordination during pizza dough shaping, pizza peeling, and box assembly. Use of tools such as pencil, computer, phone, calculator, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, and pizza peel. Requirements Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
