• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including patient assessments, vital signs, and mental status examinations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate psychotherapy, medication management, and other therapeutic modalities.
• Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications, including those requiring specialized knowledge such as psychopharmacology and botulinum toxin treatments where applicable.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care across inpatient, outpatient, telehealth, and community settings.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Provide patient education on medication use, lifestyle modifications, and behavioral health strategies to support recovery and wellness.
• Participate in clinical research initiatives or quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing mental health services.
