Minimum 5 years of project management experience within the construction industry Proven hybrid experience combining both project management and construction estimating responsibilities Demonstrated success managing small to mid-sized projects ranging from $50K to $500K from bid through completion Strong background in budgeting, cost control, and financial forecasting Experience in commercial or industrial construction environments preferred Experience in performing in a fast-paced, deadline-driven construction setting Proficiency in construction estimating and project management software Experience with bidding software such as Accubid preferred Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Excellent communication and leadership abilities Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and timelines An electrical license is a plus, but not required Must pass background check and drug screening Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record DeSoto County Electric is an Equal Opportunity Employer .
