Assistant Professor (CHS)The Department of Anesthesiology at The University of Wisconsin is recruiting a Critical Care Anesthesiologist primarily to provide clinical anesthesia care with teaching opportunities to residents and medical students. If appointed on the CHS track, duties will also include education and research components.This position is full or part-time FTE 80-100%This position requires work to be completed onsite, at a designated campus work locationApplicants for this position will be considered for the titles: Clinical Professor or Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Assistant Professor or Professor (CHS) or Associate Professor (CHS) or Assistant Professor (CHS). The title is determined by the experience and qualifications of the finalist.This position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. Primary emphasis of teaching will be in general anesthesia procedures and techniques, or in area of subspecialty training. Provision of clinical anesthetic care to surgical patients (i.e. working in the operating room, plus evening and weekend call) in an anesthesia team model or personally performed anesthesia.
