Our inspection, metrology, and analytics systems detect and monitor defects across logic and memory chips, specialty semiconductors, wafers, reticles, advanced packaging, process equipment and materials. We also develop technologies for specialty processes, IC substrates, and PCB manufacturing, including etch and deposition, component inspection, and imaging and analytics. The Customer Engagement (CE) division is a field-based group of technical experts who partner closely with customers to provide a comprehensive portfolio of KLA products that support yield improvement from R&D through high-volume production. The team helps align KLA’s solutions with customer needs, supports product performance, identifies new opportunities and gathers insights to guide future innovation—all while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.What You'll DoIn this role, you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise.Responsible for providing technical applications support for the development and implementation of KLA products in customer fabrication facilitiesMakes presentations on all aspects of productsAssists sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer technical requirements and preparing detailed product specificationsImplements customer installation plansProvides follow-up support in training customers and disseminating technical information on specific applicationsWorks on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in depth evaluation, design of experiments, and communication between customers and specialistsExercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining resultsPreferred QualificationsMS / Ph.D. preferred in Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Optics, Material Science or a related field.Candidate should have experience in the semiconductor fabrication industry, or equivalent experience and educationCandidate must be well organized and professional with strong project management skills - including the ability to manage numerous projects at onceCandidate shows persistence and dedication to understanding and solving critical customer problemsCandidate will have strong analytical problem solving skillsTeamwork is critical so having a good balance between technical skills and people skills is a must.Experience with Data analysis tools (Excel, JMP or equivalent)Semiconductor device application and characterizationPhotolithography and Overlay (IBO, DBO, SEM -OVL)Familiar with cleanroom protocols.Minimum QualificationsMaster's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 yearsAbout KLAWe provide advanced inspection tools, metrology systems, process solutions, and computational analytics that make electronics possible, tackling complex challenges.
