A growing cardiovascular ICU team in Daytona Beach, Florida is seeking a dedicated Cardiac Critical Care Physician to join a high-acuity, multidisciplinary environment. This position is focused exclusively on cardiac critical care and offers the opportunity to manage complex cardiovascular patients across advanced cardiac programs. Position Highlights Full-time position dedicated to cardiac critical care7 on / 7 off schedule (182 Shifts Per Year)28 Bed CV/ICU6am-6pmRotating Nights - In House work with APP (1:3) - 6pm-6amPA on staff during days and nightsIntegral member of a collaborative CVICU teamManage high-acuity patients, including:Cardiothoracic surgery patientsMechanical circulatory support cases, including ECMO, LVAD, Impella, and IABPVascular surgery patientsValvular surgery, CABG, aortic dissection repair, and thoracic surgery casesWork closely with cardiac surgeons, intensivists, anesthesiologists, heart failure specialists, and perfusion teamsParticipate in quality improvement and clinical innovation initiativesOpportunity to practice within advanced CVICU settings and established cardiac programs Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical schoolBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care MedicineCompletion of critical care fellowship training requiredPrior cardiac anesthesia training or dedicated CVICU experience preferredExperience managing patients with mechanical circulatory support devices preferredAdvanced echocardiography skills preferred, including PTE, CCE, or equivalent TEE training/certificationAbout OpportunityThis is an excellent opportunity for a cardiac critical care physician who wants to help support and grow a high-acuity cardiovascular program while practicing in a tertiary/quaternary care environment.
