About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient Labor & Delivery experience License: Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing Certifications: BLS certification, NRP certification Must-Have: - Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the assigned department - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services - Effective communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare personnel Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
