We are looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Dental Patient Service Specialist to join our team at Pearland Family Health Center . What You'll Do As a Dental Patient Service Specialist, you will: Welcome and assist patients throughout their dental visit Schedule, confirm, and prepare patient appointments Maintain accurate patient records in OpenEMR Verify insurance coverage and collect patient payments Provide Good Faith Estimates and explain financial responsibilities Answer incoming calls and assist patients with inquiries Coordinate with dental providers and clinical staff to ensure smooth operations Deliver exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone Support the front office in achieving an outstanding patient experience Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 1 year of dental front office experience Knowledge of dental scheduling and insurance verification Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment Professional, positive, and patient-focused attitude Preferred Bilingual in English and Spanish Experience with OpenEMR Knowledge of Good Faith Estimates and patient financial counseling Why You'll Love Working at MyCHN We value our employees and offer an exceptional benefits package, including: 100% Employer-Paid Employee Medical Insurance 100% Employer-Paid Employee Dental Insurance 401(k) Paid Time Off Career Growth and Development Opportunities Opportunity to Make a Meaningful Impact in Underserved Communities About MyCHN At MyCHN, we believe everyone deserves access to quality healthcare regardless of their circumstances.
