This mechanic position is a Union position with the Operating Engineers local 513 (full rate of $34.41/hr after probationary period).Heavy Equipment Mechanic responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Conduct fuel, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic diagnostics and troubleshooting on a wide range of mobile equipment.Perform preventative maintenance on diesel engines and hydraulics.Complete accurate written record of work performed.Communicate and work well with others in a safe and professional manner.Heavy Equipment Mechanic qualifications:Vocational / Technical degree highly desired.Welding certifications are a plus.Ability to multi-task, take directions, and perform well with others.We are looking for candidates who are friendly, flexible, hardworking, and thrive in a fast paced environment.
