Human Resource Generalist

VP Management is seeking an experienced Human Resource Generalist with strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to support our daily HR operations in Princeton, WV. This key role is essential in implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that drive the company’s goals and foster a positive, productive workplace culture. The Human Resource Generalist will support a broad range of functions, including talent acquisition, employee onboarding, employee relations, regulatory compliance, benefits administration, and performance management support. Acting as a trusted advisor to both leadership and staff, this position ensures alignment with VP Management’s core values and promotes the consistent application of HR practices across all teams.

Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition to attract and retain top talent.
• Coordinate and facilitate employee onboarding and orientation programs.
• Maintain digital employee records.
• Assist with HR reports, audits, and special projects as needed updating employee handbook, policies, etc.
• Support employee relations by addressing inquiries, resolving workplace issues, and promoting a positive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Administer employee benefits programs and assist with benefits enrollment and communication.
• Serve as a trusted consultant to management and staff on HR policies and best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Human Resources Generalist role or similar capacity.
• Strong knowledge of HR functions, employment laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and build effective relationships.
• Proficiency with HR information systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred or related years of Human Resources experience.
