About the Property Hotel Flor Tampa Downtown, the Tapestry Collection by Hilton, located in downtown Tampa with 210 guest rooms and 13,042 sqft of meeting space. The property emphasizes cleanliness and exceptional guest experience. Responsibilities Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well. Work as a team to accomplish the goal of hotel cleanliness. Coordinate the day’s workflow and distribution of duties. Inspect guest rooms following the highest quality standards. Hold department employees accountable for the highest quality standards. Supervise and train staff to maintain cleanliness standards. Assist with inventory of linen and supplies. Assist in completing performance evaluations. Use judgment and experience to assign rooms and duties. Coordinate activities with the Front Desk Supervisor and staff. Report maintenance needs accordingly. Ensure employees use and handle cleaning chemicals safely. Find coverage for callouts or increased housekeeping counts. Perform other related duties as requested by management. Qualifications Six months of experience in a similar housekeeping position (desirable). Engaging and caring personality. Time‑management skills. Ability to work on your feet for an extended period. Effective communication skills. Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions. Ability to move, traverse, and position yourself to reach corners on floors and in high places; observe conditions, detect odors, navigate carts weighing up to 100lb in tight spaces; operate equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, and dusters.
