Our goal is to deliver excellent projects together with a positive experience for our clients and our communities alike.This position will be based in our Cincinnati, OH, Exton, PA or Billings, MT offices with the ability to work in a hybrid setting, a combination of home and office, or remotely.Your ImpactYou’ll be asked to support grading and drainage/stormwater management design for new and existing electrical utility sites, and renewable energy sites (solar, wind, battery storage), as well as access road design, permitting, and construction support. Prepare and review engineering deliverables in support of civil/site engineering projects:AutoCAD/AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling Stormwater management calculations, design, and modeling using HydroCADFloodplain modeling and analysis using HECRAS or Flo-2DSite layout, grading, drainage designs, and construction drawings Bill of materials Construction specifications Perform detailed engineering reviews of the work submitted by others. Provide mentorship and guidance to othersCoordinate regularly with the Project Engineer/Manager to ensure project scope, budget, and quality expectations are metWho You areBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or closely related discipline (or equivalent experience).10+ years of relevant post education experience in engineering and civil design. Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).Experience in site design for utilities, industrial facilities, municipal infrastructure, storm drainage and stormwater management design, site grading, roadway, and utility design, sanitary sewer design and analysis, construction specification development and development of construction bid packages.AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation experienceTen (10) + years of experience in civil site/design as outlined aboveThe candidate must have a strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills to work effectively with internal team members and external client personnelExperience using the Microsoft Office software suiteDesired Education/ExperienceStormwater management and hydraulic modeling software (Autodesk SSA, HydroCAD, HEC-RAS, etc.) experience in drainage, detention and stormwater conveyanceElectric utility substation design experienceManagerial and leadership skills a plus#LI-DC3About the companyAbout WSPWSP USA is the U.S. operating company of WSP, one of the world's leading engineering and professional services firms.
