Our Direct Support Professional staff work as part of a team in a group home setting, supporting residents with household tasks such as meal planning and preparation, laundry and light housework, as well as assisting with personal care as required. In terms of work locations listed above, you will have the option of expressing your preferred locations at time of interview.* Rate effective July 1, 2026. Those working fewer than 10 scheduled hours per week will earn $19.00 per hour.ResponsibilitiesAssist, guide, and support individuals in day-to-day activitiesHousehold maintenance and cleaning as assignedSupport individuals in developing relationships, establishing ties with their community, and working towards their goals and dreamsAccompany individuals to activities within their communityImplement Staff Action Plans (SAP's) and document daily, Support Plans, and Plans of Protective OversightAdminister medications and assist medical staff as neededCleaning and maintenance duties as assignedSupport and participate in an interdisciplinary team approachUse problem-solving techniques to resolve differences and come to conclusions with teamComplete required trainingsComplete necessary documentation as requiredComplete Event to Consider, Fall Bruise and Injury forms, and Antecedent, Behavior, Consequence formsUphold standards of professionalism with regard to behavior and dressAssume responsibility for related duties as required or assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED is required.Successful candidates will have demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, strong written and oral communications skills, and a commitment to furthering human interdependence.Candidates must meet approved driver criteria in accordance with organizational policy.In order to be an approved driver at Racker, you must currently have a valid drivers license for at least 1 year with a clean record OR a valid drivers license for 3 years and no more than 4 points on your license.Our approach to Diversity and Inclusion - "A world where all people know they belong."
