• Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, educating them about our products and services, and exceeding their expectations.
• Contribute to the daily operations of our store, ensuring a seamless customer experience through efficient restocking, cleaning, organizing, and merchandising.
• Provide personalized, in-depth interactions with customers to build strong relationships and drive loyalty.

We're looking for someone who is dependable, people-oriented, adaptable, detail-oriented, proactive, positive, and a skilled problem solver.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for a range of duties, including:

• Establishing strong relationships with customers through active listening, product knowledge, and personalized service.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment, including restocking, cleaning, and merchandising.
• Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of our products and services to provide accurate, enthusiastic recommendations to customers.
• Providing expert advice on bike setup, maintenance, and repair, including installation of vehicle rack systems and performing safety checks.
• Processing transactions, handling returns and exchanges, and maintaining accurate records.
• Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through prompt, friendly service, and effective conflict resolution.
• Participating in inventory management, including stock requisitioning, receiving, and stocking.
• Supporting team members as needed to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer experiences.
• Engaging in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on new products, services, and industry trends.

Requirements include but are not limited to:

• Ability to maintain open and positive relations with employees and customers.
• Previous bike shop sales experience preferred, not required.
• Interest in working in a team environment committed to providing excellent sales and service experience while increasing sales through service
• Ability to lift 40 pounds periodically.
• Minimum 1 year experience preferred working as a retail sales associate.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Interest in developing own skills and knowledge.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred candidates will have knowledge and experience in any or all of the following systems and tools:

• Cash registers.
• Barcode scanners.
• Point of sale POS software.
• Microsoft Windows.
• Microsoft Word.
• Desktop computers.
• Adjustable wrenches.
• Adjustable widemouth pliers.
