Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS ACLS PALS NIH TNCC Must-Have: 2 years of Emergency Department experience Description: Unit Information: Number of beds: 19 Staffing: 26 FTEs currently hired, core needs 33 Day shift consists of: 1 Charge Nurse, 1 Triage Nurse, 4 Bedside RNs, 1 HUC, 1 Tech Night shift consists of: 1 Charge Nurse, 1 Triage Nurse, 4 Bedside RNs, 1 HUC, 1 Tech Patient ratios: 4:1 or 5:1 Type of equipment used: Philips EMR system: Meditech Typical procedures performed: tPA STEMI care CPR Laceration repair Ortho care Best personality fit: Positive culture fit Floating: None Dress code: Royal blue scrubs Weekends: There will be rotations on weekends; no on-call required.
