Assistant Property Manager

What You’ll Do Under the direction of the Property Manager, this role assists in maintaining compliance and the successful day‑to‑day operations in all aspects of property management. The role requires regular communication with residents to ensure on‑time rent payment and adherence to lease agreements. Your Day‑to‑Day May Include Maintain the highest level of customer service and online presence to achieve satisfactory scores on surveys and reviews from residents and prospects. Have a thorough understanding of policies related to screening qualifications, application criteria, lease paperwork, rent collection, and move‑in/move‑out procedures, and be able to explain these items to existing and prospective residents. Review resident files and accounting records to determine unpaid or late fees, communicate with residents regarding outstanding balances, implement procedures for collecting delinquent balances, and enforce the lease. Tour the community, amenities, and vacant apartments with prospects and have current knowledge of apartment specifications, vacancies, notices, and rental rates. Requirements What You Bring Minimum of 1‑2 years onsite experience as a Leasing Consultant is required. Proficiency in personal computer skills, keyboard operation, internet search, math, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Thorough understanding and application of Fair Housing laws. The expected compensation range for this position is $22.00 – $24.00, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay if eligible. This range represents a good‑faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
