Our organization is seeking a dedicated Radiology Technologist to become part of our dynamic team!

In this role, you will carry out both clinical and administrative responsibilities in alignment with our policies and procedures. You will work under the guidance of a physician, handling patient intake, following standing orders or protocols, performing venipuncture, conducting laboratory tests, and ensuring patient follow-up. Additionally, you will administer medications via oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous, or intradermal routes as directed by a provider, after demonstrating your skills to the Clinical Professional Development Specialist or their representative. Certified Clinical Care Specialists (CCSs) in Radiologic Technology will also be responsible for performing and transmitting X-ray diagnostic images, ensuring accurate documentation in medical records, and facilitating optimal patient flow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Capture required images, assess their technical quality, and send them to the appropriate locations for interpretation.
• Ensure work areas are organized and clean, reporting any unsafe conditions. Maintain X-ray and other equipment in optimal working condition, performing regular preventative maintenance.
• Gather patient history, address patient inquiries, and explain procedures. Transport patients to the radiographic room and prepare and maintain the space.
• Conduct radiographic examinations and prepare written documentation, including evaluation results, individualized treatment plans, and progress reports.
• Request and order necessary supplies.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in Maryland.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Associate degree is preferred.
