If you bring the right mindset and capabilities, we'll help you build the rest.Aggregate Field Technician Competencies & Skills:Technical & Analytical Skills Ability to conduct accurate sampling and testing of aggregates using lab and field equipmentProficient in performing basic and advanced mathematical calculationsCapable of interpreting state and company quality specifications (ODOT, KYTC, INDOT)Problem Solving & Critical Thinking Able to identify quality issues and provide solutions in collaboration with QC ManagerComfortable troubleshooting inconsistencies and making data-driven decisionsDigital Literacy Familiar with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)Comfortable generating, managing, and submitting digital quality control reportsCommunication & Collaboration Clear and consistent communication with remote plant teams and lab staffAbility to work both independently and within a team structureAdaptable to different work environments and management stylesMobility & Flexibility Valid driver's license for regular travel across Ohio, Kentucky, and IndianaOpen to working extended hours, including occasional SaturdaysPhysically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working around heavy equipmentPreferred Qualifications (Not Required – Training Provided):Level 1, 2, or 3 Aggregate Technician CertificationPrior experience in construction materials testing or quality controlCAPP CertificationWork Environment:Combination of lab-based and field-based workOutdoor work in varying weather conditionsInteraction with active production facilities and heavy machineryEOE/M/F/Disabled/Veteran/DFSP
