What You'll Do As an Inside Technical Sales Representative, you'll be at the center of daily operations, customer interaction, and sales support: * Serve as the first point of contact for customers by phone, email, and walk-ins * Process orders accurately and promptly * Prepare quotations and provide pricing, product availability, and shipping timelines * Support outside sales by sourcing products and preparing quotes * Manage key accounts, including Oil & Gas customers * Assist customers with product selection and application solutions * Build strong customer relationships through responsive service and technical support * Deliver consistent, high-quality service that keeps customers coming back What Makes Our Anchorage Team Different This isn't just a desk job, you'll be part of a working, hands-on operation where real work gets done every day: * On-site repair facility supporting customer equipment * Advanced electrical testing capabilities We Live Safety Safety isn't something we talk about once, it's how we operate every single day: * We look out for one another * We take pride in doing things the safe, right way * We invest in our people and their well-being Bottom line: You're not just another employee here, you're part of a team that works hard, stays safe, and takes care of its people. What You Bring We're looking for someone who is dependable, driven, customer-focused, and eager to learn: * Prior inside sales and/or customer service experience * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Self-motivated with the ability to work independently * Strong organizational, data entry, multitasking, and customer service skills * Efficient in Windows-based programs including Excel, Word, and Teams * Willingness to learn and take direction when needed Preferred Qualifications * 2-3 years of experience and/or knowledge in one or more of the following areas: • Pumps * Motors * Rotating equipment * Industrial products * Experience with Salesforce, Zoom, Microsoft Office, SAP Ariba, and/or Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) * Experience performing a majority of the functions described in this role What You Can Expect * $25-$30/hour, depending on experience * Comprehensive benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO, and more * A stable, team-oriented workplace with strong leadership * Opportunities for growth and advancement * A culture built on safety, respect, and performance Work Environment & Physical Requirements * Office-based, customer-facing position within an active shop environment * Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs (with equipment as needed) * Overtime may be required during peak seasons Requirements * High school diploma or GED required * Must be able to work in-person in Anchorage, AK Why Join DXP | Alaska Pump & Supply?
