As a Security Officer Armed Driver Role Patrol in Pacheco, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed and driving officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will support daily operations with integrity, reliability, and teamwork while contributing to a caring, innovative culture that puts people first.

DayTimeFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas within a chemical and petrochemical location to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization as required by site procedures, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Support emergency and evacuation protocols, communicate with employees, contractors, and first responders as needed, and assist with traffic and pedestrian control during routine operations and/or incident response.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a TSA-issued TWIC card.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
