Powersports Staff Accountant

As a Staff Accountant on our Powersports team, you will play an important role in supporting dealership operations through accurate financial reporting, account reconciliation, and day-to-day accounting functions. Responsibilities:

• Perform daily accounting functions including reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Support dealership managers with financial insights and reporting.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Collaborate with accounting leadership to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Assist with audits, budgets, and forecasting as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
• 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred (dealership or powersports industry experience is a plus).
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with Lightspeed or dealership accounting systems is a bonus).
• High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
