Description: As the Chief Business Officer (CBO) of GVW Group you will play a critical role in overseeing the operational functions of our diverse portfolio comprising five distinct automotive, manufacturing, and investment companies. You’ll lead strategic planning, ensuring each company operates efficiently and meets its targets. Your leadership extends to team management and fostering a culture of innovation, maintaining stakeholder relationships, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with regulations to drive growth, innovation and operational excellence across the entire portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational strategies to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of each company within the portfolio.
• Guide the executive teams of each portfolio company in maximizing performance and operational effectiveness.
• Monitor performance against KPIs and operational goals, taking corrective action when necessary.
• Provide leadership and guidance to management teams, fostering accountability, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Act as central authority for problem‑solving, addressing operational challenges swiftly and effectively.
• Provide hands‑on guidance and support to executive teams, implementing best practices and driving efficiency improvements to enhance profitability and competitiveness.
• Manage the financial health of portfolio companies, including budgeting, forecasting and monitoring performance.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of senior executive experience managing diverse portfolios, with a track record of operational turnarounds and value creation.
• Strong background in operational management, strategic planning, problem resolution and financial governance, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) in business administration, finance or a related field preferred.
