Job Opportunity: Weekend Diagnostic Radiologist

Our organization is actively looking for a dedicated Diagnostic Radiologist to join our team on a weekend-only basis. This ongoing role focuses on delivering exceptional body imaging and emergency radiology services during the weekends.

Position Overview

This position is fully integrated within our department, offering:

• Consistent Weekend Schedule: Coverage from Friday to Sunday.
• Productivity Expectations: Approximately 400 – 450 wRVUs each weekend.
• Academic Environment: Work within a major academic medical center with Level 1 trauma services.
• Collaborative Atmosphere: Access to subspecialty support.
• Remote Work Options: Flexibility to work from home.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Preferred: Fellowship training in Body Imaging, ER/Trauma Radiology, or a related specialty.
• Possession of a valid California medical license.

Compensation & Benefits

The starting base compensation for this role ranges from $600,000 to $650,000 , adjusted based on experience and faculty rank. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity bonuses and is subject to departmental compensation plans. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.
