Job Overview Zendesk’s Employee Technology Platforms team is driving how we use technology in our digital workplace. The Product Manager/Owner will lead strategy and execution for enterprise collaboration platforms—including Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom—to deliver a world‑class experience for Zendesk employees. Responsibilities Partner with Employee Technology Platforms leadership to define and deliver strategy across collaboration tools. Manage roadmaps for Zoom, Google Workspace, Slack, and related applications, ensuring continuous evolution to meet employee needs. Lead agile ceremonies—including Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Annual/Quarterly Planning—across cross‑functional teams. Conduct user research to surface pain points and bring user empathy into problem‑solving. Define priorities for new functionality requests and coordinate with stakeholders to deliver enhancements. Maintain awareness of industry best practices and emerging technologies that add business value. Champion strategic use of collaboration tools, demonstrating business benefits and driving adoption organization‑wide. Monitor platform usage with analytics tools and report insights that demonstrate effectiveness to key stakeholders. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of Product Manager/Owner experience focused on employee tools. 3+ years managing Zoom, AV, or similar collaboration tools. Strong presentation skills and experience presenting to stakeholders and senior management. Solid understanding of Usability and User Experience principles. Strong knowledge of Agile methodology principles. Preferred Qualifications: Comfort working with enterprise collaboration software and web‑based technologies. Ability to work independently and in large project teams. Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills. Demonstrated ability to manage and lead small‑to‑medium projects or program components. Self‑motivation, proactive action, and ability to work with minimal direction. Passion for process optimization and system implementations. Work Location & Environment This role requires the employee to be physically located in Mexico City (CDMX) or Mexico State (Estado de Mexico). The position is hybrid: the employee must attend the local office for part of the week, with the specific in‑office schedule determined by the hiring manager.
