Cellarman Employment Type: Full-Time FLSA Status: Non-exempt Department: Production/Brewery Job Summary We are looking for an applicant to join our production team as a Cellarman. At Hana Koa Brewing we value a continued thirst for knowledge with a constant drive to improve processes. The ideal applicant should possess a strong interest in brewing and be ready to work in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties Responsible for washing kegs, ensuring that each vessel is properly cleaned, sanitized, purged and pressurized with CO2 via an automated Premier Stainlesss Keg Washer Unit. Responsible for keg filling processes. This includes assembling, cleaning, sanitizing, operating, disassembling, and cleaning the racking mechanism used for such process. Kegs will be palletized and transported via pallet jack. Responsible for organizing distribution coldbox. Responsible for managing fermentation through logging of data and actions to be taken. Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Responsible for handling hazardous chemicals with proper protective equipment. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Education This position requires a high school diploma (or GED or high school equivalence certificate). A post-secondary certificate (awarded for training completed after high school) is preferred.
