About the Company Swoon is hiring a HR Generalist for our client located in Newport News, VA! About the Role Please note: This is a Contract to Hire opportunity 5x days per week onsite. The Human Resources Generalist will serve as a primary point of contact for employees and managers, providing day-to-day HR support across employee relations, leave administration, benefits, compliance, and general HR operations. This role is ideal for an HR professional looking to expand their experience in a collaborative environment with strong mentorship and long-term career growth potential. Responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for employee and manager HR inquiries. Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding leave eligibility, documentation, and return-to-work processes. Assist with benefits administration, employee enrollments, vendor coordination, and open enrollment activities. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area. 1-3+ years' of experience working in Human Resources.
