Senior Billing SpecialistMain Office - Bridgeville, PA 15017DescriptionChartiers Center is a private, non-profit corporation funded by state, county, third party insurances and private funds. Services include intake, referral, outpatient therapy, psychiatric assessment, service coordination, substance abuse treatment, training and social rehabilitative services, crisis intervention, partial hospitalization, community outreach, day, and recreational services for adults with intellectual disabilities, homeless outreach, and housing program.As a Senior Billing Specialist with Chartiers Center, you would be responsible for all types of insurance and client payment procession including posting, denial management, insurance eligibility verification and month end reconciliation.The Senior Billing Specialist job duties include:Verify insurance eligibility dailyPost insurance and client payments accurately and in a timely mannerReview, resolve and follow up on claim denials and rejectionsManage follow-up for Accounts ReceivableComplete month end balancing and closing proceduresHandle billing for clients, and insurance companies including Medical Assistance, Medicare, Commercial Insurers, and others as required.Submission of claims electronically and via paper when necessary.At Chartiers Center we offer the following benefits:Competitive Hourly RateMonday-Friday- DaylightMedical, Dental and VisionShort- and Long-Term DisabilityLife InsuranceRetirement Plan- 6% Employer Contribution after one year8 Paid HolidaysGenerous PTO (Paid Time Off)Tuition ReimbursementPositive and fulfilling work environment!Minimum Qualifications:Medical Billing Certificate and one (1) to (2) years Billing experience ORHigh School Diploma and three (3) years Billing/experience.Diversity and Inclusion - Each of our clients/individuals is uniquely different and so are we.
