Now Hiring: Spanish-English Bilingual School Social Worker – Peekskill, NY
ProCare Therapy is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Spanish-English Bilingual School Social Worker to join a supportive school district in Peekskill, New York (10566) for the 2026-2027 school year . This is a full-time, onsite opportunity supporting an elementary school caseload .

Position Details
- Location: Peekskill, NY 10566
- Assignment Dates: August 31, 2026 – June 25, 2027
- Schedule: Full-time
- Setting: Onsite
- Caseload: Elementary School
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling services to elementary students.
- Conduct social history evaluations and contribute to multidisciplinary evaluations as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, school psychologists, and related service providers to support student success.
- Participate in IEP meetings, Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Develop intervention strategies to address students' academic, behavioral, social, and emotional needs.
- Serve as a liaison between the school, families, and community resources.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with New York State and federal special education regulations.
Qualifications
- Active New York State School Social Worker Certification is required.
- Spanish-English bilingual proficiency is required.
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW).
- Previous school-based experience preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, case management, and organizational skills.
