Role Description The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive, family-centered primary care to infants, children, and adolescents in an on-site clinical setting in Frisco, TX. This full-time role includes conducting well-child visits, acute and chronic care evaluations, and developing individualized care plans that incorporate both conventional and integrative pediatric approaches. Daily responsibilities include performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications and therapies, and documenting care in the electronic health record. The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner will educate and counsel families on preventive health, nutrition, lifestyle, and developmental milestones, while collaborating closely team members and other health professionals to ensure continuity of care. The role also involves participating in quality improvement efforts and contributing to a supportive, respectful, and inclusive practice environment. Qualifications Clinical practice expertise as a Nurse Practitioner, including autonomous and collaborative care within a pediatric setting. Strong skills in Pediatric Nursing and Primary Care, with experience managing both routine wellness and complex pediatric health concerns. Solid foundation in Medicine and Nursing principles, with the ability to integrate evidence-based and integrative approaches to pediatric care. Current licensure as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with pediatric focus in the state of Texas, or eligibility to obtain. National certification as a nurse practitioner through an accepted certifying body (e.g., PNCB, ANCC). Minimum of 1–3 years of pediatric clinical experience preferred; new graduates with strong pediatric training may be considered. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with children and families from diverse backgrounds. Commitment to collaborative, team-based care and openness to functional and integrative pediatric approaches. Proficiency with electronic health records and basic clinical documentation standards.
