Experienced Dental Hygienist - Full Time As an Experienced Dental Hygienist, you will be essential in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring optimal oral health for our clients. Reporting to the lead dentist, your core skills in patient assessment, dental terminology, and aseptic techniques will be vital in providing thorough cleanings and educating patients on oral hygiene. Your premium expertise in pediatric dentistry and familiarity with software like Eaglesoft and Dentrix will enhance our practice's efficiency. Dental Hygienist Reviews patient charts prior to appointments, updates health histories and other information that may affect treatments including what doctor they will see. Provides periodontal treatments to include scaling, root planning, curettage, periodontal charting and polishing. Provides treatment for adult and children prophy's which may include but not limited to – exams, radiographs, prophy's, fluoride, and sealant. Administer local anesthesia with directions from the doctor if necessary. Promotes exceptional dental care by providing periodontal health education through demonstration and appropriate literature, including but not limited to Guru education system. Documents services rendered and other related information in patients' charts following each appointment. Charts necessary future dental treatments as dictated by the Doctor during examinations to include soft and hard tissue charting. Responsible for proper upkeep of operatory equipment at all times including but not limited to:* * cleaning and maintaining equipment related to daily functions (i.e. sterilizer, autoclave).
