Radiology Technologist - Diagnostic Radiology Providence Orange , CA NEW Part Time Description Radiology Technologist at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA. This position is PerDiem and will work 10‑hour, variable shifts. Under general supervision, operates conventional, fluoroscopic, or portable radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographics of designated body portions, providing assessment and care for infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients according to physician specifications. Positions patients and adjusts x‑ray equipment to correct settings for each examination. Assists physicians in carrying out examinations by mixing and preparing contrast media and assisting in sterile procedures. Required Qualifications: Within 90 days of hire: California Radiologic Technologist license. Within 90 days of hire: National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Upon request: National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Preferred Qualifications: Participation in a continuing education program. Why Join Providence?
