Operations Associate

SUMMARYThe Operations Associate is an entry level position within Deposit Operations responsible for supporting the daily operations functions of the department and the bank. This position performs routine processing, verification, documentation, and administrative duties while developing knowledge of Deposit Operations processes, systems, policies, and regulatory requirements.This position is designed to provide foundational experience within Deposit Operations and may be cross trained in multiple operational functions based on department needs, employee development, and demonstrated proficiencyESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:• Lockbox processing• Debit Card inventory production and fulfillment activities• Mobile wallet provisioning notifications.• Return mail management• ICS/CDARS statements and imaging• Follow established security, confidentiality, dual-control, and internal-control procedures.• Assist with research and resolution of routine operational questions.• Learn Bank systems, products, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements associated with assigned responsibilities.• Participate in cross-training within Deposit Operations to develop proficiency in additional functions and provide back-up support as needed.• Assist with testing, documentation, and other departmental initiatives as assigned.• Maintain confidentiality of customer information; follow established policies and procedures in responding to inquiries and requests.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.KNOWLEDGE SKILLS, & RESPONSIBILITIES• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.• Ability to follow established procedures and internal controls.• Ability to organize work and meet daily processing deadlines.• Basic mathematical, balancing, and problem-solving skills.• Ability to learn multiple banking systems and operational processes.• Effective written and verbal communication skills.• Ability to maintain confidentiality of customer and Bank Information.• Ability to work independently after training while also functioning effectively as part of the team.• Willingness and ability to learn additional operational functions through cross-training.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)• Previous banking/financial services preferred but not required• Basic proficiency with computers and standard business applications.KEY CONTACTS• Has frequent contact with VP of Payments for Lockbox Operations.PHYSICAL DEMANDS• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
