The facility operates as a rheumatology clinic within a hospital, providing specialized outpatient rheumatology services to adult patients. The clinic maintains structured clinical workflows and established resources to support locum tenens clinicians on assignment. Clinicians will find the infrastructure necessary to deliver quality rheumatology care within a hospital-based environment.

The region is defined by its natural landscapes, including Lake Michigan beaches, sand dunes, and an extensive network of rivers and trails that support activities such as hiking, kayaking, canoeing, and fishing. Visitors can explore attractions like Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park, Silver Lake Sand Dunes, and a craft beverage scene spanning breweries, distilleries, and cideries. The area also features charming small towns with local dining, arts, and cultural offerings throughout the year.

The rheumatologist will provide outpatient rheumatology care for adult patients in a clinic setting, Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The clinician will manage approximately 18 patients per day, with flexibility available on daily volume. Clinical responsibilities focus on bread and butter rheumatology for adult patients. Tele call coverage is required for 2 weeks during the assignment; call is phone-based and does not require in-person presence.
