About the Role:
Oldham Dock and Doors LLC is looking for a skilled Commercial Overhead Door Installer to join our growing team in Loganville, GA. This is a hands-on opportunity to work on exciting commercial projects, delivering top-quality installation services that businesses rely on every day. Responsibilities:
Install commercial overhead doors, dock equipment, and related hardware at commercial job sites
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and installation specifications
Perform installation of sectional doors, rolling steel doors, and high-speed doors
Install and adjust door operators, springs, tracks, and associated components
Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure proper door alignment and function
Communicate professionally with customers, site managers, and team members on the job
Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good working order
Requirements:
Prior experience in commercial overhead door installation or a related trade field
Familiarity with dock levelers, dock seals, and commercial door hardware is a plus
Ability to read work orders, blueprints, and technical manuals
Mechanical proficiency and comfort working on ladders, scaffolding, or scissor lifts.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering quality workmanship
Must own basic personal hand tools (truck and specialized tools are provided).
This is a traveling position up to 50% Travel
