About the Role:
Oldham Dock and Doors LLC is looking for a skilled Commercial Overhead Door Installer to join our growing team in Loganville, GA. This is a hands-on opportunity to work on exciting commercial projects, delivering top-quality installation services that businesses rely on every day. - Install commercial overhead doors, dock equipment, and related hardware at commercial job sites
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and installation specifications
- Perform installation of sectional doors, rolling steel doors, and high-speed doors
- Install and adjust door operators, springs, tracks, and associated components
- Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure proper door alignment and function
- Communicate professionally with customers, site managers, and team members on the job
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good working order
- Prior experience in commercial overhead door installation or a related trade field
- Familiarity with dock levelers, dock seals, and commercial door hardware is a plus
- Ability to read work orders, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Mechanical proficiency and comfort working on ladders, scaffolding, or scissor lifts.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering quality workmanship
- Must own basic personal hand tools (truck and specialized tools are provided).
- This is a traveling position up to 50% Travel
