Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist in Jackson, Michigan. This role involves performing computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients, including administering intravenous contrast media, preparing patients and equipment, and assisting radiologists with complex diagnostic procedures. The position requires a thorough understanding of radiation protection principles and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts (12 hours shifts), minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent; license and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT); advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry-eligible; BLS certification; at least 1 year of experience in a hospital setting; peripheral IV insertion experience or willingness to obtain training; experience working independently in a fast-paced environment; strong communication and customer service skills.

• Additional Information:
  • Must have Associates degree in Applied Science in Radiology
  • Responsibilities include patient preparation, clinical data review, CT scan operation, intravenous contrast media administration, sterile equipment setup, and utilization of radiology information systems.
  • Must demonstrate excellent teamwork, communication, flexibility, and commitment to patient safety and quality care.
  • Physical demands include potential exposure to radiation, high-voltage equipment, contagious patients, and the need to lift or move equipment or patients exceeding 10 lbs.
