Job Description

Performs medically prescribed electrocardiography procedures including electrocardiograms, stress testing (regular, nuclear, dobutamine), signal average electrocardiograms, Holter monitors and event monitors. These procedures are performed throughout the patient population; inpatient and outpatient, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric. Participates in a team oriented, patient focused delivery of care model and assists in other areas of the Noninvasive Cardiology Laboratory.

Education And Credentials

High School Diploma or GED required. Associate of Applied Science (AA, AAS, or AOS) preferred. AAS - Associate of Applied Science (AA, AAP, or AOS) in health related science (including Cardiovascular Technology) preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) within 6 Months required.

Experience

1 year of experience in a hospital setting preferred. Electrocardiography certificate upon hire required.
