At Always Home Nursing Services, Inc., we offer recent graduate Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) the opportunity to gain experience participating in an extensive preceptorship training program while doing direct patient care in the home setting for pediatric and young adult patients. We currently have day, evening and NOC shifts available in and around the Sacramento area. Responsibilities: Utilizes the Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) process to monitor, plan, implement and evaluate patient care. Perform Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) care which can include, but not limited to, enteral feedings, medication administration, tracheostomy care and respiratory treatments while monitoring for any change of condition. Provide complete documentation of all care provided. The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will perform duties within their scope of practice to meet direct patient care needs. Qualifications: Current California Registered Nurse (RN) License Current PPD or Chest X-Ray Current BLS card This is a great opportunity to provide hands‑on nursing care to medically fragile children while receiving training and support in the patient’s home.
