In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Working as part of a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will help create a welcoming environment while demonstrating integrity and teamwork throughout each shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or unauthorized entry.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, check credentials when required, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or daily activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Support access control, vehicle and foot patrol activity, and basic emergency response duties while working in indoor and outdoor environments that may vary throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
