Assistant Manager

DESCRIPTION

Firehouse Subs is now looking for awesome Assistant Managers with open availability to join our team!

As an Assistant Manager , you'll help lead the restaurant every day-from supporting hiring and training, to delivering the highest-quality customer service, to helping meet sales goals while serving the most delicious sandwiches. You'll be an essential part of our leadership team.

Role Overview

The Assistant Manager supports the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) by helping manage daily operations for a single restaurant and driving key performance outcomes. You'll operate under the direction of the RGM and directly lead a team of Hourly Shift Coordinators and Team Members (typically 4-8 employees).

What You'll Do

You'll set the pace and the example. We'll teach you how to make a sub, but we're looking for a leader who can guide the crew with confidence, enthusiasm, and consistency.

Along with leading the team, your day-to-day may include:

• Making subs
• Running the register
• Keeping the restaurant clean and stocked
• Supporting scheduling
• Managing shifts
• Training and developing team members
• Handling other shift duties as needed

Previous restaurant experience is preferred. You should be fun and friendly, but firm when it matters. Most of all, you'll be someone who motivates others, delivers great customer service, and helps build a positive team culture.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 1 year of management experience required.
• Open availability required, including weekends and all scheduled shifts.
• Proven cash handling experience required.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) desired.
• Provide top-notch customer service at all times.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop a strong team.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
