Lead Kindergarten Teacher

Asheville Waldorf School is seeking a warm, nurturing, and enthusiastic Lead Kindergarten Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate has experience working with young children and a deep appreciation for Waldorf education, child development, and the importance of protecting childhood through rhythm, imagination, play, and meaningful work. Waldorf Early Childhood training is preferred, but passionate educators who are eager to learn and grow within a Waldorf setting are encouraged to apply. Asheville Waldorf School:

The Asheville Waldorf School was incorporated in 2010, became an associate member of the Waldorf Early Childhood Association of North America (WECAN) in 2017, and joined the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA) as an associate member in 2018. Our organization consists of a cohesive and striving Faculty, a Board of Directors that draws members from both the Parent body and the community, a committed Administration, and a loving and involved community of parents and families.
